I can not decide if i want to get a 42 inch Samsung plasma tv (PN42B450)
or the Panasonic viera 42 inch plasma tv (TC-P42X1) both are around the same price which is why i am having such a hard time figuring out what i want.
Ps aslo should i get the best buy warranty on it. I am kinda of worried about it being a plasma and the burn in effect. please help

Just purchased a sanyo 42 inch tv and a Panasonic surround sound. (model number scpt660) I hooked up the hdmi cord to the tv and the sound is great. We just got a new cable box from Time Warner for hdtv. How can I combine hook up the cable to surround sound? I am not entirely sure this model allows for this to happen. Also I would like to hook my PS3 up to surround sound. What do I need to do for the best audio and visual quality?

I have a nice 42 inch Panasonic TV which I use for BluRay and the xbox, since it has a vga connection at back I thought I’d have a go at plugging in a PC and see how it looked. Trouble is I have a black screen on the TV. No signal.
I have gone to my control panel and tthe TV is identified as a VGA device, I’ve set this to various resolutions but still no picture.
BTW the TV has a PC channel, the instructions give nothing away, beyond plug and play.
If anyone has any good ideas I’d love to hear from you

I realy dont want to mount my tv on the wall so I need help finding a new base stand for my tv online.
I already tried part store.com and encompass.com but they were out of stock!
